What do you do when you discover the post you wrote a while back announcing you were selected to be a RootsTech London Ambassador actually was still sitting in drafts? Especially when RootsTech starts with the letter R. Use it for the letter R AtoZChallenge post, of course!

When the #genealogyphotoaday prompt for 27 February 2019 was “what makes me happy” deciding what image I would share was a no brainer.
Announcing: It’s Official
I’m an official RootsTech London Ambassador. I’m going to London in October.
When I opened the email saying I am an ambassador for #rootstechlondon I was excited, thrilled, OK actually ecstatic. I’m proud to be able to share about this great family history event to my family, friends and followers. As your RootsTech London Ambassador expect news on the keynote speakers and much more leading up to and during the conference in October.
Plus I will be cousin visiting while in the UK and plan to get in some research too so, as the TravelGenee slogan says, “My travels and family history will help you reveal yours”.
As regular Conference attendee (more of a genuine all-out conference junkie) I am always spreading the news how conferences are the best way to pack lots of learning into a few days. I am sure that RootsTech London will not disappoint.
By the way that is Tower Bridge in the promo image. It’s very close to where some of my ancestors lived in the late 1800s. This October I hope to again walk those streets they walked.
So why not join me in London? You will not regret it.
