Just a few photos of when I stayed at Cantinone Apartments, Le Marche, Italy the first time, a few years back. 2011 to be exact. They also do B & B. I have been going to post my review and the photos for ages and thought that I better get some of my draft posts published.
We have stayed at Cantinone in Cupramontana, Italy a number of times. Each time Ian and Jane are so welcoming. They are happy to help with information on local tourist attractions and places of interest. It’s so peaceful in the country side and you can rest up by the pool.

Cantinone Apartments or Bed and Breakfast
The Wine Keg, while large is much smaller than the actual wine vats inside.
All great Wine Cantinas needed a well for water. This one has been lovingly restored.
The gardens have also been restored from the wild growth that took over from years of neglect. Now grassed areas to walk and relax plus herbs, vegetables and fruits supply fresh produce for the family.
The stone work has been restored inside and out. Hard, physical work!
We had a car so traveled out to local towns and villages and took in all the history. There are so many quaint villages to walk around or country side to view. Ancona is not too far if you want to visit the sea.
The rooms are well appointed plus it’s very spacious and clean. For a small charge, and if you are lucky, you can join in for Pizza Night where you can make your own pizza in the large wood fired pizza oven. Anything else you need Ian and Jan try to help for their hospitality is excellent. I can totally recommend Cantinone and will be staying again.
